Constituent Services and Community Hours

Constituent Services
Public Information Officers field the various questions about the office and the services it
provides on the (614) 525-HOME line. They handle constituent requests for information from
the various departments of the office. Some examples would be requests for property record
information, taxpayer information, and parcel identification sheets. The Public Information
Officers also assist residents with referrals to other Franklin County agencies and organizations.

In 2024, the Communications Department won the International Association of
Assessing Officers’ (IAAO) Public Information award for its ‘Know Your Home Value’
educational campaign about the 2023 Mass Reappraisal. The award is presented to
jurisdictions that have developed and implemented an effective system for distributing
information to residents and other stakeholders.
Community Hours
Franklin County Auditor Michael Stinziano continues to hold weekly Community Hours meetings
where residents can stop by and visit, or join virtually via Facebook @mstinziano, and share
firsthand their feedback and ideas about the Auditor’s office or any concerns they might have.
